Giving Back - Flowers for Fundraising and Charity Events
For the past several years, Nancy Yaworski of Bloomers Floral Design has been involved with the Nite of Hope charity fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research in Richmond BC. Each year the committee collaborates on choosing a theme for the event and it is Nancy's challenge to interpret and translate this theme into beautiful fresh floral centerpiece.
Working within a very limited budget, each year Nancy is tasked with designing 45 centerpieces reflecting her interpretation of themes such as "Viva la Hope", "Song of Hope", "Lite of Hope" and "On the Wings of Hope" for the event’s over 450 guests to enjoy. At the conclusion of the evening, the floral arrangements are auctioned off. Taken aback by Nancy's stunning creations, the event's guests continually outbid each other, driving up the prices and ultimately raising more money for Breast Cancer Research.
Nancy Yaworski has, on several occasions, also designed floral arrangements for the Richmond Hospital Foundation's various fundraising events. Bloomers Floral Design welcomes your special event or charity business.
